The History of the Jeroentune pipe goes back a few years , arround 2003 i
had made several designs of pipes and i worked closly toghether with other
boaters , we used thin iron to roll our own pipes and hard solder them
together , no mufler , just pipes , when our designed improved we gained
more power , back than my design pipes were real RPM pipes but with the 230
peanut motors we needed more torque and we followed other pipe designers .
with the introduction of the 231 and 260 motors i took my old pipe drawings
out of drawer and started again . without much trouble we had some test
pipes made and the results were pretty good . mean while the mufler section
was recalculated and we managed to get the pipe under 82 DB limit . we used
0.5mm stainless steel for the pipes and a special welder technique to show a
minimum of welds in the pipe , its a jewel on your boat !
I have tryed several
header and flange systems with this pipe , a 7/8 header will fit in our pipe
with just a little work , than you can make it adjustable . i like the CC
header and flanges 7/8 inch ore the new 1 inch header , and weld them
togheter at your desired lenght . an ideal pipe lenght is 13 inches messured
allong the pipe , if you have a high timing motor go a bit longer , if you
need rpm with a small prop go shorter ..
At this moment we have
2 models ..all Jeroentune pipes are stainless steel , from front to rear .you
can choose in side and rear exit . the side exit is more silent if you
aim the stinger in the prop wash , that will bring the DB rate arround 80 DB
. the rear exit pipe is more easy to apply in several boat setups .
Our pipes are tested by
several motor builders ore people who have acces to a dyno . here in the
netherlands , but also in the USA. several testers were very impressed with
the power the pipe makes , it can compete with big names like CC racing ,Insane
and M&D pipes , but it more silent due to the push and pull mufler system .
one downsite , it is a bit more heavy than the light built aluminium pipes
.. 350 grams is not the lightest but if you want power and still a slient
pipe , the Jeroentune pipe can bring you a solution .
Right now the pipe is
international known , the boaters from the Netherlands and Germany use our
pipe very common . also the boaters from Sweden and Norway run our pipes ,
the Brittish boaters are discovering our pipe and it is becoming a very
populair pipe in the USA . but even in Australia ,Finland,Bermuda and Arabia
. to go short , its well know over the world .
At this moment we
are trying to get the Jeroentune pipe to be built in an Aluminium version to
make it lighter and more available in the USA . still in test fase . here in
the netherlands we are allready working with a Jeroentune pipe with a
1 inch band in her . also in test fase .. the normal Jeroentune pipe
will be still available .
